Those wishing to rent a car upon their arrival will find plenty of choice, although advance bookings tend to secure the best prices, particularly when compared to 'over the desk' rates. Driving into the city centre will likely take in the region of 15 minutes or thereabouts. You will need to follow the Tangenziale / Autostrada Adriatica A14 motorway (Strada a Pedaggio) for much of the journey, before passing by the Zona Universitaria and heading into the Centro Storico, via the Piazza di Porta Ravegnana.
